Blogspiration #4: The Power of Books

Blogspiration is a Brand Spankin' New weekly meme hosted by both GrowingUp YA and Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers and writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation and just a little SOMETHING.

                                              The Power of Books

I thought this picture really captured what it's like to read an amazing book. I spent a little time thinking up which books I've read that fit each picture. For me the bloody pic represents Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews, the plant one is Claimed by Shadow by Karen Chance, and the fire one is Firestorm by Rachel Caine. What kinds of books do these pictures make you think of?

I can't think at this moment what each one represents at the moment. But I totally get the idea that things like literally leap off the page at you :D

    1. They do! Books are like my life's blood. They help me get up in the morning, keep me going during the day, and sleep well at night. :)

Oooh, how about 20,00 Leagues Under The Seas for the octopus?
For some reason the butterflies make me think of Harry Potter, as weird as that is... but in Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder there are butterflies!

SERIOUSLY. I LOVE this one <3
