This Week's Question: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?Answer: I would love to tell Ilona Andrews (a married couple who writes together) that they actually changed my life. Because of their wonderful books in the Kate Daniels series, I finally realized my purpose in life. I want to be a writer. I am a writer. And it's mostly because of how obsessed I got with the Kate Daniels series. I read these books and realized that this is what I wanted to do all day. Create worlds and characters that readers become attached to. I think these authors are the best writers out there. I start reading their books and I can't put them down until the end. The characterization is amazing and the grittiness is at a level I don't see very often in urban fantasy books I've read lately. Thank you Ilona Andrews for showing me what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.

This Week's Question: Literary Vacations - If you could take a trip this summer to any place within a fictional book, where would you go? Tell us about your summer dream vacation!Answer: Okay, I never said I was sane. Now that we got that out of the way, my literary vacation is somewhere a little scary, violent, but also amazingly beautiful. And I think the good far outweighs the bad. My literary fiction for the summer would be New York City in the world of the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh. Why, you may ask. Because I am OBSESSED with the idea of meeting angels. But these angels have nothing to do with religion. These angels (and archangels) pretty much rule the world. They are terrifying, violent, and freaking breathtaking. After reading every book in this series so far, I can't deny that the angels of Singh's world fascinate me beyond common sense. I would risk the rougher side of this world just to be able to see angels fly in the city skyline. And if one of them actually flew with me in his arms (*coughs, Blue Bell, coughs*), well, that's just a bonus. A big, heart-stopping, best moment of my life bonus. Plus, I always wanted to visit New York City, so it's a two birds with one stone kind of scenario.
