Blogspiration #12: Book Space

Blogspiration is a Brand Spankin' New weekly meme hosted by both GrowingUp YA and Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers and writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation and just a little SOMETHING.
It's been a while since I found something for this meme. But when I saw this pic I knew I had to share it with you guys. I think we can all agree that this has happened to all of us...or will eventually. :D

So what is your solution for too many books? I just keep buying bookshelves and packing away my other belongings that don't matter as much as my reading addiction.

    1. So very true. My mom and dad don't understand. Why they are upset that books now overflow into the living room, dining room, and family room, I will never know. ;)

  2. That is exactly what happens in our house! My boyfriend thought he had solved the problem, because I could just buy books on kindle that didn't take up any room, unfortunately I'm still buying some paperbacks though :)
I've currently filled our computer room - 2 bookshelves, and the space under my desk, and 6 piles around the desk, and have another couple of hundred in my wardrobe.
I also have about 8000 books on my kindle though so at least they're not taking up any space!
He totally doesn't get why I need so many, or why I'm not willing to swap the paperbacks I already have for kindle copies!

  4. I have book overload in my house, too. Now I have a kindle and only buy print for those "special" books I NEED to own in print. It helps . . . a little.

    1. I buy Kindle books when they are cheaper but most books are the same as Kindle books which to me means I might as well have the hard copy.

    3. LMAO. I am having that same problem. I think to myself "OMG, I new shelf, now I will have all this room for years to come to fill with my books." Then the next day reality sets in. "Crap, the shelves are already full. I guess I had more books on the floor than I thought."

  7. Hahaha...I know what you mean! I gave up my TV stand for a new bookshelf. Sadly enough, it's now about 80& FULL.

Everything can go, NOT my books!
