Blogspiration is a Brand Spankin' New weekly meme hosted by both GrowingUp YA and Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers and writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation and just a little SOMETHING.
It's been a while since I found something for this meme. But when I saw this pic I knew I had to share it with you guys. I think we can all agree that this has happened to all of us...or will eventually. :D
So what is your solution for too many books? I just keep buying bookshelves and packing away my other belongings that don't matter as much as my reading addiction.

ahhaha I love this!! :D :D I have the same problem with my Dad!! :D He is totally the same :P And me and my mom are just like .. Yeah, whatever :P
ReplyDeleteNon bookish people will never understand :P :P :D
Awesome blogspiration!
So very true. My mom and dad don't understand. Why they are upset that books now overflow into the living room, dining room, and family room, I will never know. ;)
DeleteThat is exactly what happens in our house! My boyfriend thought he had solved the problem, because I could just buy books on kindle that didn't take up any room, unfortunately I'm still buying some paperbacks though :)
ReplyDeleteI've currently filled our computer room - 2 bookshelves, and the space under my desk, and 6 piles around the desk, and have another couple of hundred in my wardrobe.
I also have about 8000 books on my kindle though so at least they're not taking up any space!
He totally doesn't get why I need so many, or why I'm not willing to swap the paperbacks I already have for kindle copies!
LOL, Yeah, Kindle is cool but I still buy paperbacks too. But dear god, you have a lot of books. More than me, and I thought that was impossible. hehehe.
DeleteAh, i have no solution besides stacking the books in every available place.
ReplyDeleteI have book overload in my house, too. Now I have a kindle and only buy print for those "special" books I NEED to own in print. It helps . . . a little.
ReplyDeleteI buy Kindle books when they are cheaper but most books are the same as Kindle books which to me means I might as well have the hard copy.
DeleteI have the same solution as you I have a kindle, but I much prefer physical copies.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS YES.
ReplyDeleteJen, I kid you not, I've had nearly this EXACT conversation with my husband... it's eerie :D
LOL, I had a feeling you would relate to this one. hehe
DeleteAhaha... maybe just a little. I just bought a new bookshelf... it's, err... full already -__-
DeleteLMAO. I am having that same problem. I think to myself "OMG, I new shelf, now I will have all this room for years to come to fill with my books." Then the next day reality sets in. "Crap, the shelves are already full. I guess I had more books on the floor than I thought."
DeleteHahaha...I know what you mean! I gave up my TV stand for a new bookshelf. Sadly enough, it's now about 80& FULL.
ReplyDeleteEverything can go, NOT my books!
LOL, agreed.
