Follow Friday #32 / TGIF #25

Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
Question: Happy Father's Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?
Answer: Ooooh, that is a hard one. Not many dad characters that are actually nice in my books. Oh, Oh, I got it. Charlie from Twilight. He was pretty awesome. Kind of laid back but strict when needed. He just seems like a nice, normal father.

And also Adam from the Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs. Adam may be the love interest, but he also has a teenage daughter who adores him. He is the perfect combination of protective and caring.

Question: Most Valuable Book - From your personal collection of books, which ones hold the most value to you - is it signed by the author? or maybe it's your favorite story of all time? Share it with us.
 Answer: My most valuable books are the complete Rachel Morgan Series by Kim Harrion that the author signed for me. I have never had a whole series signed for me before, so they are very important to me.

The other most valuable book is Revealing Eden (Save the Pearls Part One) by Victoria Foyt, which was the first physical ARC I ever received since starting my blog. I was so excited when I got it. It made me feel like a legit blogger.

  5. Oh yes, my collection of the Hollows by Kim Harrison is pretty precious to me too! But I don't have ALL of them signed, just some.
    Charlie is one I didn't even think of, but good answer!

  10. New follower here. Alot of people have picked Charlie from Twilight, I don't even remember him that much! I haven't read any of the other series in your post, but would love to have a whole series signed by an author (or even 1 book would be nice!)

  11. Wow! Awesome picks! I have nearly all my Hallows books signed, but the last one since she didn't come to the midwest. Hoping to see here again before the series ends so I can have the whole set signed! Plan on doing that with my Kelley ARmstrong one next year!

  12. Charlie is such a G. Especially Move Charlie, who I also find sexy. And I love Adams, the fictional kinds. They always get to be so swoon-worthy. I've heard good things about Briggs's books, so maybe that'll be something to check out in the future.

    Hehe, I love signed copies! I would say that my signed books can be more valuable than non-signed ones, apart from a few special gems that need no siggies to up their value, in my opinion. :D

  16. Great picks! Charlie was one of my choices also. I haven't read the books in your TGIF post - I'll have to check them out.

    My most valued books are Slammed and Point of Retreat by Colleen Hoover. She is such a sweetheart! After reading my review, she sent me a signed copy of each one with the sweetest personalization. I was so excited, I literally jumped up and down and squealed!
