Lies Beneath #2
Summary
It's been thirty days, two hours, and seventeen minutes since Calder left Lily standing on the shores of Lake Superior. Not that she's counting. And when Calder does return, it's not quite the reunion Lily hoped for. Especially after she lets her father in on a huge secret: he, like Calder, is a merman. Obsessed with his new identity, Lily's dad monopolizes Calder's time as the two of them spend every day in the water, leaving Lily behind.
Then dead bodies start washing ashore. Calder blames his mermaid sisters, but Lily fears her father has embraced the merman's natural need to kill. As the body count grows, everyone is pointing fingers. Lily doesn't know what to believe—only that whoever's responsible is sure to strike again. . . Add on Goodreads

What I Think: This cover does not call to me at all. The cover of Lies Beneath was really cool. This one looks unprofessional, like not a lot of effort went into it. What do you think of these covers.? Are you fans of the series?

Cool covers! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat covers--though I think my favorite in the Delirium series would be the cover of Pandemonium.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Pandemonium was the best cover of the series.
DeleteThe Requiem cover is a bit less interesting than I would have hoped for. Nothing ground breaking there. But it's nice enough.
ReplyDeleteYeah, nothing special.
DeleteI like the cover of Requiem--very pretty, and the girl has extraordinary eyes. It's interesting to me though that the first cover was blue, and the next two have had a VERY similar pallette. Thought they'd have gone for a significantly different colour.
ReplyDeleteShame about Deep Betrayal. I was never a fan of the typography (doesn't really seem to fit), but I like the imagery on the first one, and still thought it fit together quite well. Mo well :/
I never thought about the color scheme for Requiem and the series. You're right.
DeleteDeep Betrayal really disappointed me.
Nice. I especially like Deep Betrayal's cover.
ReplyDeletei love the deep colors in the cover for requiem i think there beautiful but i strongly dislike the model, she doesnt match lena from the front but she captures her in the first two books i wish her face was angeled that way again, and i hope hannah and lena can meet in this one some hoew ....since the book well be followed through the both of them i just figured.,
ReplyDeleteI too love the deep colors. It draws the eye.
