Question: Christmas in July - If Santa were to come down your chimney in the middle of summer, which books would you want him to leave for you under the tree?
Answer: There are a few books I have been dying to read but just don't want to spend the money on yet.
Across the Universe
Shadow and Bone
This is Not a Test
The Selection
City of Lost Souls
Tiger Lily
Lies Beneath
Clockwork Angel
Everneath
Clockwork Angel
Everneath

That's what my pick was this week. I loved that book so much.
ReplyDeleteMy FF
It really hits the heart, right?
DeleteIt does, it was the first book to make me cry like a baby.
DeleteLies Beneath seems to keep popping up everywhere... I'm not sure where I fall on reading about mermaids and stuff, but I think I could give it a try. I'll be looking to see what you think of it!
ReplyDeleteI plan to get it and read it soon. I am totally a mermaid fan right now.
DeleteHaven't read that one yet, but maybe someday soon I will pick a nice quiet weekend and read that book, with tissues since you said you cried a lot :D
ReplyDeleteOld follower!!!
OMG, yess, you will need tissues.
DeleteHello - just came over from Follow Friday. Man, I'm totally flunking on all these best of high school reads. I'm going to have to add Where the Red Fern Grows to my list!
ReplyDeleteI hope you like it if you do. A great story.
DeleteFor some reason my English class never read that book... but my friends in a different class did and they all loved it!
ReplyDeleteHere's my FF

DeleteI never read Where the Red Fern Grows, mostly because it just sounded depressing, haha.

DeleteWhere the Red Fern Grows was a great book. I remember reading that in middle school. It's been over 20 years since I read that. I'll have to re-read it one of these days.
ReplyDeleteMy FF
Yeah, I would like to reread it too some day.
DeleteOh jeez! I don't ever remember reading this over the summer but I read it in school. This book made me sooooo depressed.
