So I finally bought some books I have been dying to read. And if it wasn't for me having to catch up on my review requests, I would be devouring them right now. I can't wait to finally read the notorious Fifty Shades Trilogy. I bought Partials because I am going to a book signing soon that has Dan Wells as one of the authors on a panel. 
I assume you're going to a Dark Days tour stop? Me too!! I can't waait to meet Dan Wells. I absolutely **LOVED** Partials! I couldn't put it down!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Fifty Shades of Grey. I personally... really didn't like it. I bought the trilogy just like you did, then I read the first book, and returned the other two.
It seems to be a love or hate kind of book so I'll be interested to see which side of the spectrum you're on :P

DeleteThat's so cool!! We'll se each other there! :) I don't know if you're allowed to get more than one book signed per author. I assume so. Most of the signings I've been to don't have a limit, or if they do, it's like 2 or 3 books (rather than 1).

DeleteI read the first book in the fifty shades trilogy last weekend and really liked it. It seems to be a real love/hate one though. Loads of people have told me how great it is, and the same number of people have told me its rubbish. I personally love christian grey though, and will definitely be reading the other two books.
ReplyDeleteI bought partials a couple of weeks ago and it is sitting on my shelf calling to me, I have loads of review books to get through though so it will have to wait a bit longer!

DeleteAwesome books this week! Partials was a great read. I really enjoyed it. The 50 Shades series was not bad. The writing was horrible, but Christian Grey is very swoon-worthy, and the sexy time parts are not too shabby! Enjoy the books you got this week :) Happy reading!

DeleteHaha, I'm really curious what you'll think about the Fiftys series. I think there are few people who don't have an opinion (regardless of the fact that many of them haven't even READ the books) and it's always funny to see what bookbloggers think. (Though I personally really did not like several parts of the books, and skipped even more..)

DeleteOoooh, I am VERY intrigued to see what you make of Fifty Shades... I'm... err... I downloaded the chapter sample from Amazon, and I just couldn't be bothered... also, Smart Bitches' and Dear Author's reviews convinced me I wasn't interested, but we shall see! A few of my friends have LOVED.
