Giveaway: Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter (Bookmarks)

Hello all my lovely followers and friends. Today we are here to celebrate the soon to be released YA Paranormal Zombie book, Alice in Zombieland (White Rabbit Chronicles #1) by Gena Showalter. I've read it and plan to post the review on Wednesday. But just so you know, it's getting 4.5 stars. I loved Gena's take on the popular zombie genre.

But let's get to the main reason we are here. How are we celebrating Alice in Zombieland's September 25th release date? By an awesome giveaway. I happen to be a part of the Alice in Zombieland's Street Team. Which means I got a whole bunch of bookmarks to giveaway to 5 lucky winners.
Summary
She won’t rest until she’s sent every walking corpse back to its grave. Forever.

Had anyone told Alice Bell that her entire life would change course between one heartbeat and the next, she would have laughed. From blissful to tragic, innocent to ruined? Please. But that’s all it took. One heartbeat. A blink, a breath, a second, and everything she knew and loved was gone.

Her father was right. The monsters are real….

To avenge her family, Ali must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys, Cole Holland. But Cole has secrets of his own, and if Ali isn’t careful, those secrets might just prove to be more dangerous than the zombies….

I wish I could go back and do a thousand things differently.
I'd tell my sister no.
I'd never beg my mother to talk to my dad.
I'd zip my lips and swallow those hateful words.
Or, barring all of that, I'd hug my sister, my mom and my dad one last time.
I'd tell them I love them.
I wish... Yeah, I wish.

  1. I'm a total noob. I honestly can't think of the last zombie book I read.. let alone the best. I read more vampires than zombies, so I need Alice in Zombieland so I can change that!! :P

Thanks so much for the giveaway Jennifer! This book has one of the best covers EVER so I'd love to get my hands on a bookmark! Drool drool drool.

    1. It really is a beautiful cover. It does seem like not many people have read zombie books. Weird. lol

      Good luck.

  2. The only zombie novels that I've read so far were Enclave and The Maze Runner series. Both are pretty good but the zombies in both don't fit the typical image of the walking dead.

I'm really curious what's Alice in Zombieland all about. Already pre-ordered my copy awhile back. Would be cool if I would have the matching bookmarks to go with it. ;)

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. I haven't read a zombie book in ages, and I can't really remember which book it was. I think there were some zombies in the last Dresden Files book I read.

I am curious about Alice in Zombieland for two reasons, one, Gena Showalter is amazing! And two, I love Alice in Wonderland.

  12. Apart from alice in Zombieland, the favourite zombie book I have is actually the Generation Dead Series by Daniel Waters! Truthfully I didn't particularly love the zombie genre but having come across Generation Dead introduced me to the genre and then books like Contagious by Emily Goodwin and Alice In Zombieland by Gena Showalter have kept my interest and increased my likelihood of me reading more of this genre!

  23. The best zombie book I ever read? That's a really tough one... I haven't read as many as I'd like yet, and a ton of them are anthologies... but I'd have to say my favorite compilation so far is Zombies vs. Unicorns... it was the most light-hearted and fun.

I recently reviewed Warm Bodies, which, while not my *favorite* zombie story ever, was a really interesting, fun read, and a different take on zombies.

I would love to be entered for this, and I'll be buying this book in 8 days XD
