Summary
Sixteen-year-old Selena Fallon is a dreamer. Not a daydreamer, but an I-see-the-future kind of dreamer. Normally, this is not a problem, as she has gotten pretty good at keeping her weird card hidden from everyone in her small town. But when Selena dreams of her own rather bloody death, things get a little too freaky—even for her.
Enter Dillan Sloan. Selena has seen the new guy in a
different dream, and he is even more drool-worthy in person. Beyond the
piercing blue eyes and tousled dark hair, there is something else that draws
her to him. Something…electric. Too bad he acts like he hates her.
When Selena learns she’s being targeted by a force bigger
and darker than anything she ever imagined, she’s had enough. Despite her death
dream, Selena is not going to give up easily, especially when she discovers
that Dillan isn’t what he seems…and might not actually hate her after all.
Dillan might be the only person who can save her.
Jennifer: What inspired you to write Til Death?
Kate: I
dreamt about my own death. Instead of freaking out about it, I did what any
sane writer would do…write about it. *laughs*
Jennifer: Did anything (or anyone) surprise you while writing
your book?
Kate: Dillan.
I never thought he’d have his own POV. Jennifer: If you were going to come up with a theme song for Til Death what song would it be?
Kate: Don’t Save Me by Becca
Jennifer: Can you tell us three surprising facts about yourself?
Kate: I bake
when I’m stressed. I can spend an entire day at the movies. My guilty pleasure
is All You Can Eat Japanese Buffet.Jennifer: Who are your favorite authors?
Kate: Lisa Kleypas and Suzanne Collins
Jennifer: Finish this sentence: I cannot write without...
Kate: My
laptop.
Jennifer: So what's next after Til Death? Are there any other
projects you are working on or plan to?
Kate: I’m
currently working on a YA contemporary romance I’m really excited about.
Jennifer: I can't thank you enough for taking the time to
answer a few of my questions. Is there anything else you would like to mention
before we part ways?
Kate: Thank
you so much for letting me hang out here today. It’s been fun answering all
your questions. If anyone has any other
questions, ask me on twitter @KateEvangelista and I’ll make sure to reply.
Happy reading, everyone!
Author BioWhen Kate Evangelista was told she had a knack for writing stories, she did the next best thing: entered medical school. After realizing she wasn't going to be the next Doogie Howser, M.D., Kate wandered into the Literature department of her university and never looked back. Today, she is in possession of a piece of paper that says to the world she owns a Literature degree. To make matters worse, she took Master's courses in creative writing. In the end, she realized to be a writer, none of what she had mattered. What really mattered? Writing. Plain and simple, honest to God, sitting in front of her computer, writing. Today, she lives in the Philippines and writes full-time.
This is a tour wide giveaway.
