My name is Jennifer L. Bielman. I live in California. I am the co-organizer of the San Bernardino-Riverside County Writers Critique Group
I have an addiction to reading that has consumed my life. Now I
want to share my reviews and suggestions with others. I have read over 400 books in the past couple years, mostly in the urban fantasy and paranormal romance genre. I love reading both traditionally published and self-published books.
My reading addiction has now turned into a full-blown obsession that has spread into writing. I am currently working on an Urban Fantasy novel. For the past year I have been involved in writing workshops, clubs, events, and even critique groups. I would love to share my progressing knowledge to all those writers out there. (Though, this is primarily a book review blog.)
So, pretty much, my B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Redlands was a little wasted. But I hope to one day get my Masters in Creative Writing. Oh, and I want to get my book published. Probably shouldn't forget that, right? It's not like I've spent almost every waking minute working on it or anything. Or that I have actually passed out on my computer after spending four hours working on the same paragraph. Or that I am on my seventh edit because I have a bad case of perfectionism. No, nothing that drastic. I swear, I'm totally normal. Kinda. On most days at least. Okay, I won't lie. Odd doesn't even begin to cover it.
