If you are not reading the Hollows Series by Kim Harrison then you are missing out! This series just keeps getting better and better.
Yeah, the first book rocked my socks off. And I hear the second book is actually better, which seems insane.
I know many of you love Kelley Armstrong and her many lovely series, but I bet most of you have not tried out her Nadia Stafford Series. For me, it is in my top 5 favorite series of all time. This is the last book and I have been waiting forever for it to come out. Love me a good assassin book.
Wild Justice by Kelley Armstrong
For Review:
Physical ARCs
I don't know why I have been bitten by the HarperCollins Fairy, but I am loving it. I never get physical ARCs, but someone out there must really like me. :)
Salvage by Alexandra Duncan

I am really getting into these fantasy/high fantasy books.
OMG, did you notice how similar the cover of Storm Siren and the cover above, The Kiss of Deception, are? Weird!
Have you read any of these books before? Which one should I read first? What did you get this week?
Crown of Midnight is amazing! :D And I got The Kiss of Deception too, which was a pretty big deal for me because I had never been approved for a book published by Macmillan (or one of their imprints) before. :D
ReplyDeleteThere is no better feeling than when a certain publisher starts approving your ARC requests. :)
DeleteI really need to read some Sarah Maas. I've seen her books recommended SO many times. I hope you enjoy your books this week!
ReplyDeleteSo far I lover her. I am obsessed with assassins so her Throne of Glass series is perfect for me.
DeleteThese look pretty awesome. I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteMy StS.
Thanks so much.
DeleteOoh Salvage looks pretty gorgeous in that picture, not a fan of the book though. Yes Crown of Midnight! That book was so freaking awesome.
ReplyDeleteLovely haul, Jennifer! <33
Aww, sorry to hear Salvage didn't work for you but I am happy Crown of Midnight was awesome.
DeleteI need to start the Maas series, I heard great things about them, and I have them actually. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSo far, amazing!
DeleteWhat a great haul! :) Let me tell you one thing: Crown of Midnight is insanely good! You'll absolutely adore it if you liked the first book. Salvage and The Kiss of Deception are both on my TBR list - you lucky duck have both of them! I hope you enjoy all of your books! :) Happy reading and have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I am sooo freaking excited for Crown of Midnight it's not even funny!
DeleteI have Crown of Midnight this time too!! I'm sooo wickedly excited. And also The Assassin's Blade. The ARC gods have smiled on me that's for sure. ^.^ My StS!
ReplyDeleteOMG, you are so lucky!
DeleteYeah Crown of Midnight is totally better than the first book. It's AHMAYZING! I hope The Kiss of Deception is good, I got that one too! And yeah, weird how those two covers are similar. I probably never would have noticed that if they weren't side-by-side!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's weird how I accidently put them together like that.
DeletePeople keep telling me I need to read Kim Harrison and Sara Maas. One of these days I'll finally get around to it. :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my StS and my current giveaways!
OMG, both are such amazing authors it's not even real.
DeleteGreat haul! I really need to get to Sarah J. Maas' series at some point.
ReplyDeleteOh yes you should.
DeleteI enjoyed Crown of Midnight and hope that you do too
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
DeleteGreat haul of books! Absolutely love Kim Harrison but I'm so behind on the Hollows series, up to book 9 at the moment! Oooh, Crown of Midnight - one of my favorite books last year, can't wait for the next one.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new books and happy reading :)
Happy to meet a fellow Kim Harrison fan.
DeleteGreat haul! I'm hoping The Kiss Of Deception is as good as it looks.

DeleteOoooh I'm so jealous of Salvage! I'm dying to read that one. Lemme know what you think of it :) My STS
ReplyDeleteI really hope it turns out good.
DeleteYES!! I just finished reading Undead Pool. I'm actually pretty sad that it took me this long to get to it since it's been out since January. I loved it! I hope you enjoy your read when you get to that one. Have a wonderful weekend :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven.
ReplyDeleteIt usually takes me forever to get to books. There are just too many to read.
DeleteI have the first Hollows book, but haven't gotten to read it. I've heard such fabulous things about the series that I know I need to read it very soon. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, is gets better and better with each book.
DeleteSarah J. Maas' series is da bomb diggity! I'm curious what will happen in book 3 and if she'll push the series to MYA/NA territory since that's what's "in" right now.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I wonder.
DeleteYou have an amazing haul!!

Have a great week. :)
Thanks!
DeleteI got The Kiss of Deception recently and can't wait to read it, it looks sooooo good! Those covers are really similar though. I have yet to start the Throne of Glass series, maybe that's something I need to hurry up and do. I hope you enjoy all of your books :) My STS.
ReplyDeleteI am 100 pages into Crown of Midnight, and OMG!!!
DeleteIt's the first time I'm hearing of these books. They all look amazing! And yes, the two books do have resembling covers. I like the Kiss of Deception cover better though. ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I have a TON of books added to my shelf. Physical books I might add. There was a sale, and I couldn't stop myself. Eek!
Yeah, Kiss has a better cover.
DeleteWho can resist a book sale!
Wow, those last two books do have eerily similar covers. Weird. BUT what I'm really excited about is The Undead Pool and Crown of Midnight! The Hollows rocks my socks off, and ToG is currently my #1 favorite YA series. I hope you like book 2 (I LOVED it)!
ReplyDeleteJessica @ Rabid Reads
Yeah, ToG is my fav YA series right now too.
DeleteI've actually thought about reading the Throne of Glass series and the Hallows but for some reason, I just haven't picked them up yet. I really need to get them onto my TBR list.

They are such amazing series. You will not regret it.
DeleteI wasn't a fan of Salvage. but I'm really excited to read The kiss of Deception! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that sucks.
DeleteI've been waiting to read The Hollows until it's finished. I love powering through a series, and I think there's only one book left, so I'll wait a little longer. I got Kiss of Deception myself, and am looking forward to trying it out. I'm in a fantasy mood.
ReplyDeleteNice haul!
